‘Behind the Design’ celebrates the 50 years of the British Airways design team and explores the luxury and in flight customer experience they deliver, whilst reflecting on the inspiration they find in the classic British traits of understated elegance and attention to detail. Leighton was asked to deliver a suitably elegant online platform to enable BA’s customers to discover the comfort and luxury provided by British Airways.
Leighton’s CEO Lyle McCalmont, said: “With over 550 entries for the awards, clearly competition has been fierce and we are delighted to have been selected as a finalist. We were honoured to be commissioned by BA to deliver such a prominent and high end project, and will be attending the awards hoping to win as a reward for the excellent work and commitment of our team.”
Designed to celebrate and reward digital effectiveness and excellence, The Dadi Awards are judged by a panel of digital creatives, strategists and clients all of whom have extensive experience in the digital industry. The awards ceremony will take place on 1st October 2014 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel and is managed by The Drum, the PPA Business Magazine of the Year.
